Yes.
Google is actively developing an app available in the chrome webstore called
Chrome Remote Desktop Beta
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-remote-desktop/gbchcmhmhahfdphkhkmpfmihenigjmpp?hl=en
The computer you are connecting to needs to be using the Chrome browser and have the app installed too.
At this time, it’s not possible to connect to an unattended computer. Another user needs to be present to allow the connection.
Teamviewer.com can be used through the browser on a Chromebook for this purpose.
You can download Teamviewer for personal use for free and set up your computers to be accessed remotely while un-attended. Then you can sign in on the Teamviewer website and access your computers through any browser.
I personally use team viewer to access any one of my computers from my smartphone, tablet or even another person’s computer through any web browser. It works beautifully.
Is it possible to remotely control a Windows (XP or 7) computer from a Google Chromebook?

please help!!
i downloaded teamviewer from the google play store on my hp chromebook 11.
it shows as “installed”, but gives no option to click “open” or “run” or anything useful!!!
how do i actually install it???
thanks!
Id Suggest contacting team viewer and getting some assistance over the phone. Your issue is better addressed that way. I’d help but I barely have time to respond to comments!
