Jane can try Trello.com. Set up a board for the whole flow line. Make a list for each stage in her process from order though shipping. Create cards for each order. Jane and her team can drag and drop each order (card) from list to list as they move through the process. Cards can be clicked and updated with descriptions, checklists, notes etc. Teamates can be assigned to orders too.
One of the most easy to adopt systems I've seen. If she uses paper, whiteboards and spreadsheets, she can adopt this -and so can her teammates.
Every business has a unique process and Trello may not have all the features she needs -but it has enough to allow her to stay on top of everything and see where it is at a glance. It's free too.
