I have a son named Nick who also loves baseball. This video really hit home for me.
Google fiber is only available in Kansas City and soon to be available in Provo UT and Austin Texas. We seriously considered moving to Kansas when we first heard of the speeds you can get with Google Fiber. 1Gigabit up and down for $70 a month. Incudes 1TB of online google drive storage.
As a comparison, right now I'm paying time-warner $75 a month for 50 Megabits Down and 5 Up. They don't offer anything faster. Google Fiber would be 1000 Megabits down AND up. Along with a terabyte of online storage -and all for less money.
I upload Gigabytes of data at a time for my customers, mostly Video content, It would take me minutes instead of hours.
New competition like this in the market is great for the consumer and the market as a whole.
