Google Apps Standard (free) Edition is no more

Companies still using the free edition of Google Apps are grandfathered in. But new companies looking to use Google Apps for their business will need to sign up for the business edition.

Congratulations if you signed up for Google apps standard while it had up to 10 accounts for free.  You have a nice asset in your company.  Even better if you signed up for it when the limit was 50 free accounts. (I know a few businesses who did this).

The change is probably for the best and will afford you an excellent suite of premium business services for 4.16 per user per month, or 50 per year.
