Google Maps are getting better and better with the help of people like you

I remember in 2009 driving in an unfamiliar city and using google maps to get somewhere.  I ended up at a dead end where the map said it was a through street. It was frustrating and I wished I could let Google know about the problem.  That was then.  Today, you can do more than notify Google.

Google released Mapmaker as a tool to allow maps to be edited and crowd sourced from the millions of people that access and use Maps.  If you want to add a road or make a change due to construction, you can.

Visit maps.google.com while logged into your google account and click the mapmaker tab to make your own public or private maps.  Public information you provide helps shape google maps for the better.
